The eyeshadow palette that will make you feel like a makeup pro
Laura Mercier's new palette is the solution to your smudged, worn-out makeup
Laura Mercier Editorial Eye Palette Intense Clays, RM229
Ask anyone who knows me and they'll tell you I'm no eye makeup expert. Other than my daily winged eyeliner, I rarely ever dabble in eye makeup for fear of looking like a raccoon or that I have conjunctivitis (or both). On the occasion that I do wear eyeshadow, a few hours in, I end up with patchy colours on my eyes. However, Laura Mercier's new eyeshadow palette might be the cure to my dilemma.
The palette has highly-pigmented clay-like colours that just melt onto the skin, are easily blendable and stay where you put them – so no streaky, cakey looks. Six gorgeous shades (three brushed metallic clays and three matte clays) come with a unique air-light setting powder that you dust on to make the colours last all day. Perhaps now I'll finally become an eyeshadow aficionado.
