Experience the butoh dance performance 'To the Abyss of Labyrinth' at DPAC

Inspired by the trying state of the world, the butoh dance piece To the Abyss of Labyrinth will bring audiences on a journey of exploration and discovery. Butoh is a form of dance theatre that hails from Japan and this performance will be staged by renowned butoh artist, Yumiko Yoshioka with several local artists on 27 March 2017 at the Blackbox in Damansara Performing Arts Centre.

For those seeking to learn more about the experimental Japanese art form, Yoshioka will be hosting a free talk and sharing session on butoh on 31 March 2017.

Butoh enthusiasts will also have the unique opportunity to sign up for a two-day intensive workshop with Yoshioka on 1 and 2 April 2017 at the Asia Music Productions Studio. The workshop which will focus on the unification of the body, mind and soul and is limited to only 25 participants, so be sure to sign up quickly.
