Tweets about Carrie Fisher that remind us to stay strong in 2017
We lost a beloved actress, but gained new insight for next year thanks to her
Following the passing of Carrie Fisher, there has been a surge of tweets about how the late Star Wars actress and author impacted people's lives. Many remember her not just for her role as Princess Leia, but for the strong and outspoken woman she is. Even she once said, Carrie is Leia and Leia is Carrie.
Let's admit it, it's hard not to be saddened about her death, but in honour of the actress who was always more concerned about stepping above things that would bring you down, here are ten lessons we can carry into 2017.
1. Appreciate the past, but live in the now.

2. Be generous about everything, even in speaking up about your own struggles. It might help someone else realise that they're not alone.
