Zalora wants to turn your passion into a profession with its first scholarship scheme. The online fashion destination just announced that it is offering seven tertiary students from the region (one student each from Singapore, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam) a partial grant for tuition fees and a paid internship at the Zalora offices in May 2016.

To apply, students simply need to interpret the theme "The Science of Fashion" either in pictorial form, an essay or a 10-minute video. "Contrary to what many may think, fashion is not just another art form. There's always the scientific aspect behind fashion and design, and especially so for Zalora as an online fashion retailer because we live and breathe digital. It's our hope that these young bright minds will appreciate that," says Michele Ferrario, Managing Director of the Zalora Group.

Applications are done online and are open to tertiary students from all fields of study. Deadline is on 16 October 2015. Interested students can find out more about the application process and eligibility criteria at www.zalora.com.my/scholarship. You can also email Zalora at scholarship@zalora.com.my.
