What's even better than a T-shirt design contest? Why, a Star Wars-themed T-shirt design contest for Uniqlo, of course!

You may be familiar with Uniqlo's UT Grand Prix T-shirt Design Contest, which we can attribute the brand's Mickey Mouse and Madonna T-shirts to. This time, the global competition will be tackling George Lucas' intergalactic universe, and the winning designs will be featured in Uniqlo's Spring/Summer 2015 collection.

Anyone of any age and gender can submit their designs, regardless of where they come from as Uniqlo is accepting submissions from the whole world. As if having your designs made into T-shirts by a retail giant isn't enough, $10,000 and a Lucasfilm Headquarters tour will be awarded to the Grand Prize winner. Better get sketching, then. The submission period begins on 14 July and ends on 31 August 2014.

Oh, the beauty of crowd-sourcing; so much potential for unsung creativity to shine. Also, can you imagine what could be done with Star Wars to make a T-shirt? Instant. Buy. But make it good, because Darth Vader will be judging.
