Yang Mi and Mark Chao star in H&M's 2018 Chinese New Year campaign
The festive collection drops in January 2018
Chinese actress Yang Mi and Taiwanese-Canadian actor Mark Chao are the stars of H&M's Chinese New Year campaign. You'll recognise them from the popular Chinese drama series Eternal Love where they played two deities who fell in love, Bai Qian and Ye Hua. In the campaign, it's evident that the chemistry they shared on television remains.
"I am a huge fan of H&M, and to front the exclusive Chinese New Year campaign with Mark for the very first time is extremely exciting," Yang Mi said. "I cannot wait to celebrate Chinese New Year with my family and friends wearing my favourite pieces from this special collection. I hope our fans will love this capsule as much as we do."
From the looks of the campaign, the collection will include shirtdresses, embroidered varsity jackets, sweaters and floral patterns, all done up in an auspicious red hue.
"The collection encapsulates the bright and joyful spirit of the Spring Festival and I love that it's so versatile for both celebratory occasions and day-to-day fashion wear," Mark said. "We hope that everyone will be able to experience the festive spirit through the warmth and togetherness embodied in this campaign."
The H&M Chinese New Year 2018 collection drops on 25 January 2018 in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Macau, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam and Canada.
