Everything is better when it's French. Even though Wildfox is an LA-based label, that didn't stop them from channelling the notorious Marie Antoinette for their latest Fall 2014 sunglasses and eyewear line's ad campaign.

Shot by Mark Hunter, the campaign shoot stars Emma Stern Nielsen rocking the Queen of France's iconic pouf hairstyle while dressed in French Victorian-themed lingerie and the brand's Fall 2014 eyewear. With loads of pastels and soft touches over the shoot, the shoot was primarily inspired by Sofia Coppola's retelling of Marie Antoinette's story back in 2006.

The only thing we're bummed about this shoot is that there are no shots of pretty pastries and cakes as Marie Antoinette had a well-known sweet tooth. Let the model eat cake!
