5 things we love about Malaysia's first Polo Ralph Lauren store
Everyone will agree with no. 5
1. The clothes.
Because, come on, that's what we always care about most. There's loads of easy-to-wear, timeless pieces in neutrals such as cream, khaki, black and white – just the kind of staples every closet needs more of, frankly. The trench coats and simple black dresses are especially on the money, and we also fell hard for the oversized black hoodie.
2. The interior.
The interior design is the stuff of sighs! (No surprise, really, if you've seen Ralph Lauren Home before.) There's lots of polished wood, white painted panelling, exposed brick and nautical elements, warmed up with rugs, plants and soft lighting. The brand says it's "a little bit New York City warehouse, a little bit prep school." We say it's a whole lot of "Can I move in right now?"
3. The kids section!
Too adorable for words. Everywhere you look are stripes and checks, and teeny tiny versions of the famous Polo T-shirt! It's enough to make you want to have a baby. Almost.
4. All the sections!
In fact, it's basically a one-stop shop for the whole family, because there's a men's section too, which is especially strong on upmarket casual wear. We liked the linen button-downs and loved the relaxed suit jackets. But most of all we loved that we won't have to traipse all over town any more when the whole family needs new clothes!
5. The baristas.
We LOVED the male model-slash-baristas who were serving Ralph Lauren coffee at the media preview! Okay, okay, they probably won't be there all the time, but it doesn't hurt to pop in and check, right?
Polo Ralph Lauren is located on Level 3 at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur.
