What we know about Beyoncé's Ivy Park collection
The collection arrives in Malaysia on 15 April exclusively at Topshop Mid Valley Megamall
[Updated 7 April 2016] The Ivy Park collection will arrive in Malaysia next Friday, 15 April 2016 ONLY at Topshop in Mid Valley Megamall. Race you to the store!
Beyoncé slayed us all when she announced her new athleisure collection called Ivy Park yesterday via an Instagram post with the simple caption "@weareivypark". Ivy Park isn't even available yet, but it's already all everyone can talk about. So here's what we know about the collection.
1. The inspiration behind Ivy Park
We're not surprised that Blue is part of the inspiration but where does the park come from? In the campaign video, Bey talked about how a park had made her into who she is today.
"I would wake up in the morning, and my dad would come knocking at my door, telling me it's time to go running. I remember wanting to stop, but I would push myself to keep going," Bey said. "It taught me discipline. And I would think about my dreams. I would think about the sacrifices my parents made for me. I would think about my little sister and how I was her hero."
"I would look at the beauty around me, the sun shining through the trees. I would keep breathing. There are things I'm still afraid of. When I have to conquer those things, I still go back that park. Before I hit the stage, I go back to that park. When it was time for me to give birth, I went back to that park. The park became a state of mind. The park became my strength. The park is what made me who I am. Where's your park?" she added.

2. Speaking of Blue Ivy, she's in the campaign video too!
Spot her at the 1:36 mark.
3. Beyoncé's athleisure line is all about female empowerment
When you visit the official website, www.ivypark.com, you will see phrases like 'You don't have to depend on someone to tell you who you are', 'Do you have to choose what type of woman you are?' and 'You were born to do flawless' flash across the screen. Other words like 'Slay' and 'Independence' cement the fact that it's definitely a Beyoncé collection.
5. The Beyhive lost their minds even before Ivy Park was announced
ELLE US started a countdown by posting photos of Bey on Instagram two days ago, sparking speculation that an album was about to drop. The Beyhive, who were also hoping for an album, pretty much had a meltdown on Instagram.

And just when we thought we'd be safe from the Beyhive, this happened on the ELLE Malaysia Instagram.
