Serge Ruffieux and Lucie Meier's temporary takeover at Dior following Raf Simons' departure involved a 52-look Haute Couture collection that was presented in a mirrored set, built in the gardens of the Musée Rodin in Paris. The collection stayed true to Dior's culture and idea of femininity, resulting in a magnificent start to a new Simons-less era at the fashion house, even with two relatively unknown Swiss designers – Serge and Lucie are directors on Dior's in-house design team – leading the show.

If you take a closer look, you'll see that plenty of attention was paid in the accessories department as well. Models wore dainty rings, sleek mules (some worn with sashes and anklets) and cluster earrings, while beaded insects made unassuming but beautiful embellishments on a mesh sleeve. Fans of Dior's minimalistic bauble earrings might find their hearts torn in two, but it's interesting to see the fashion house buying into the trend of stacking jewellery after having stuck to a no-fuss outlook in past seasons. Whatever it is, we want all the rings.
