Vanessa Redgrave stars in Gucci Cruise 2017
The campaign reflects Alessandro Michele's love of British culture
Age is just a number when it comes to Gucci. Academy Award-winning actress Vanessa Redgrave, 79, stars in Gucci's Cruise 2017 campaign film. Gucci's bold, spirited attitude looks good on her, as she holds her own against her young contemporaries and appears as elegant (if not quite cheeky!) as ever.
The film was shot at Chatsworth House, home of the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire where Vanessa and company were filmed having fun outdoors through an old school '70s filter.
The choice of location also kicks off Gucci's 3-year partnership with Chatsworth House. The brand announced in June that, in line with creative director Alessandro Michele's love of British culture, it will launch a cultural programme that centres of fashion and style. The Cruise 2017 runway show took place in Westminster Abbey in London.
