Word has it that Valentino is offering $569 million (approx. RM2.2 million) to buy Balmain, the brand beloved by the Kardashians and helmed by creative director Olivier Rousteing.

According to French newspaper Les Echos, there are two other potential buyers; a Chinese group and an American investor are also trying to acquire the brand. The heirs of the late owner of Balmain, Alain Hivelin, apparently have until Thursday to make a decision about the three offers.
