Top stories: Fashion ruled our world
Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week shows and Christian Louboutin's new app kept us busy this week
Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week had us running around like madmen in heels, attending back-to-back shows while maintaining the site. But we're not complaining, especially when 'work' involved looking at the stunning collections of our local designers (from Man Chien's whimsical masterpieces to Alia Bastamam's pretty pastels) and admiring the ensemble of our very own street style stars. With two more days until closing, don't forget to check in with us for your exclusive, front row access to the shows.
From front row, let's move on to the lovely Louise Roe, whom we recently had the privilege to meet and interview in Florence, Italy. Apart from sharing some style tips, she also revealed that she is more of a shoe than a bag person. Another shoe person? Malaysian jewellery designer Natrah Omar, whom we featured for this week's edition of 'How I Do It.' We're sure they'll both love these 14 over-the-knee pairs we've picked out for the season.

Speaking of shoes, have you heard of the new app from Christian Louboutin? Called Louboutinize, the app lets you, um, 'louboutinise' your photos with its three built-in filters such as Rouge, Crystallize and our favourite, Legs. It's a pretty hilarious app and our team made sure they wasted no time trying it out.
Of course, we're not just about shoes this week. Our writer Verinia also picked out comfy sweaters to wear to the office, while Andy fell head-over-heels for a Miu Miu coat. And although we may not be able to afford couture (yet), we're happy with Yves Saint Laurent's return to couture. "Yves Saint Laurent will be about the ateliers, the tradition, about complete luxury," creative director Hedi Slimane said in an interview, which you have to read because he so rarely gives one.
We can't believe it's already the weekend. If you're attending any of the #KLFW15 shows this weekend, don't forget to say "hi" to us if you see us. However, if the introvert in you chooses to stay home, here are a few good books to curl up with or a recipe from Bear Grylls and Michelle Rodriguez you might want to try. We're kidding about the last part, please DO NOT eat a mouse stewed in your urine, that's just gross!
Cheers to the weekend!
