Tom Ford's SS16 video stars Lady Gaga

Lady Gaga covers Chic's 'I Want Your Love' for a runway dance party

Instead of presenting his Spring Summer 2016 collection at a runway show, Tom Ford made a short film (that was essentially a glamorous music video) starring Lady Gaga.

The singer and Nile Rodgers covered Chic's I Want Your Love for the video's soundtrack, to which she and an army of models dance to. And when we say dance, we mean it's a dance party you're sorry you were left out of. Tom makes up for the absence of a runway show by adding a small lit-up runway to the video for the models to boogie on.

Gaga makes her first appearance one minute into the video, wearing an aluminium foil-like coat. She later wears skimpier pieces, flashing a lot of skin in between sequences of interpretive dancing.

Metallic textiles, short hems, sequins, shiny beads with the occasional animal print spell out a disco glitterati theme for Tom's collection, made only more fabulous by the way it was presented.
