Thomas Tait wins the LVMH Young Fashion Designer Prize

The British designer wins the first ever LVMH Young Fashion Designer Prize

Congratulations, Thomas Tait! The British designer has won the LVMH Young Fashion Designer Prize, beating 11 other designers including Simone Rocha, Hood by Air, Jacquemus and Vika Gazinskaya. Thomas will receive €300,000 to invest in his label, as well as a year-long mentorship.

Tina and Nikita Sutradhar of Miuniku and Shayne Oliver of Hood by Air also received special prizes. The results were decided by a fashion star-studded jury: Karl Lagerfeld, Nicolas Ghesquière, Marc Jacobs, Riccardo Tisci, Raf Simons, Phoebe Philo, Humberto Leon and Carol Lim of Kenzo, Delphine Arnault, and LVMH executives Pierre-Yves Roussel and Jean-Paul Claverie.
