Kim Kardashian, Kanye West and more cry in new Balmain campaign

It's probably because the clothes are so beautiful

Balmain creative director Olivier Rousteing enlisted his #BalmainArmy to star in the brand's Autumn Winter 2016 campaign. Just to name drop a few, the cast includes Kim Kardashian, Kanye West, Alessandra Ambrosio, Francisco Lachowski, Joan Smalls, Josephine Skriver and Jourdan Dunn.

Their main objective: look good in the clothes and cry. Or look solemn, at least.

Kim and Kanye's Met Gala wardrobe make an appearance in the campaign, and Kanye even wears his silver-blue contact lenses for good measure as he sheds a few tears. Everything was shot in black and white by Steven Klein for extra drama, but you shouldn't be surprised – when has Olivier Rousteing ever stinged in that department when the results look this good?
