Thanks to young designer Bobby Abley, who recently showed at London Collections: Men, The Little Mermaid (strictly the Disney version) has finally made it to the runway. Bobby used motifs from the animated film across his collection – we particularly love the slouchy grey sweatshirt emblazoned with that famous cup bra, and the outline of Ariel bursting out of the water, across the chest of a shimmery Lurex-look top. Even Ursula's sly smile makes an appearance, and a cheeky lip-printed skirt nods to 'Kiss The Girl'. Flotsam and Jetsam appear as special Danny Hyland-designed skateboards that we would happily mount on the wall.

It is primarily a menswear collection but we have firm faith in our ability to incorporate the pieces into our own wardrobes, come autumn. The sweatshirts are calling out to be paired with a bright, white, full midi skirt or some torn-up denim for late-night adventures.
