Gucci creative director Alessandro Michele might have a thing for subways. Last season, one of his campaign images was of a model standing on a train platform and now, a model carries a peacock in a stairway of the Berlin U-Bahn.

Shot in Germany's capital city by Glen Luchford, the new Spring Summer 2016 campaign looks like a dream sequence, with models hanging out on a rooftop, looking pensive by the sink in a bathroom and skateboarding with a peacock. If these magnificent birds ever needed a case to herald their reign as fashion's most coveted accessory, this is it.

The clothes featured are as eccentric as we remember; with seemingly clashing colours blending so well, we might actually forget all rules about mixing and matching. So this is Alessandro's SS16 – a little mysterious, a little fantastical and very, very attractive. Just don't carry your pet peacock on the LRT or anything.
