French designer Jean Paul Gaultier is collaborating with lifestyle brand Eastpak to raise awareness of AIDS through The Eastpak x Jean Paul Gaultier collection. The collection features seven backpacks, three of which are going to be released as numbered and limited editions. JPG fans will be delighted to know that the bags will of course also feature Jean Paul's signature overstitched Breton stripe.

"I think the condom is the greatest piece of clothing ever invented and my message to everyone is 'Protect yourself.' I have been involved in the fight against AIDS for many years now and will continue to do so for as long as I am needed," said Jean Paul.

The extremely limited-edition backpacks – only 10 of each will be available in Malaysia – are priced at RM539 each, with an undisclosed part of the proceeds being donated to Designers Against Aids. The backpacks will only be available in four stores in KL: Bread & Butter and World of Sports at The Gardens, Urban Adventure at Mid Valley Megamall and Bread & Butter at Pavilion KL, this April.
