Stella McCartney unveils new lingerie line

Cara Delevingne fronts the campaign

In conjunction with October's Breast Cancer Awareness month, English designer Stella McCartney has created the Alina Playing lingerie line which consists of a balconette bra, a soft-cup bra and a bikini brief. All three items come in the same shade of delectable pink.

In addition to the collection, Stella also unveiled the Louise Listening bra which was designed to reduce discomfort during the healing process of getting a double mastectomy. WWD reports that the bra got its name from Stella's late mother, Linda Louise McCartney who passed away in 1998 after being diagnosed with breast cancer.

Fronting the campaign for the new collection is model-turned-actress Cara Delevingne who Stella thinks "represents a generation of young women that we are really trying to reach." Stella also shares her hopes that the campaign will "inspire all generations of women to be aware of breast cancer and be aware that preventing it is the most positive approach."

The Alina Playing range will be available at tomorrow as well as at other online retailers such as Net-a-Porter, Barneys New York, Selfridges and more. Don't worry about spending on the collection because a percentage of the profits will go to breast cancer charities.
