Stella McCartney scores Olympics 2016 gig

The designer is on board again to design Team GB's kit for Olympics 2016

In the second piece of exciting Stella McCartney news this week, it's been revealed that Stella will once again be designing Team GB's kit for the upcoming Olympics. Stella designed the Team GB Olympic and Paralympic kits for the 2012 games, creating sportswear for 900 athletes competing across 46 sports and is set to do the same for 2016. She'll be working with long-term collaborator Adidas on the kits, and based on the popularity of her 2012 designs, we can only expect that 2016 will be as stylish. 

Stella's previous Olympic designs took two years to develop. "It was an incredible experience, one of the most incredible experiences ever to work on, and to be a part of that, even in a small way, was just amazing for me,' she told The Telegraph. "I'd do it forever and ever." Looks like the designer's dream may be coming true.

The 2016 Olympics will take place in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
