The nominees for the British Fashion Awards 2016 are out, and Malaysian designer and Central Saint Martins graduate Han Chong's label is on the list! Self-Portrait, which has grown rapidly in the past few years to become a celebrity red carpet favourite, has been nominated for the British Emerging Talent award.

"So incredibly honoured and humbled to be nominated among such talented and creative artists," Chong wrote on Instagram. "I never imagined beyond my wildest dreams that this would be possible, thank you @britishfashioncouncil."

The London-based brand is vying for the award with Alessandra Rich, Charles Jeffrey, Faustine Steinmetz and Molly Goddard. On 5 December at the Royal Albert Hall, the British Fashion Council will announce the winners for the 15 award categories, six of which (Creative Influencer, Isabella Blow Award for Fashion Creator, Outstanding Achievement Award, Special Recognition Award, Swarovski Award for Positive Change and Fashion Icon) are special awards with no pre-announced nominees.
