See the new Chanel sunglasses get made in this fascinating short film

This is how sunglasses are made in the future. Plus, see more photos from Cara Delevingne's campaign

Chanel already had us gawking at the new laser-engraved quilted sunglasses from its SS16 eyewear collection, but this new short film only doubled our appreciation for the accessory. Watching the perfection of it all is incredibly satisfying, much like watching a crease on a shirt get ironed out.

On top of the making-of video, Cara Delevingne was photographed by Karl Lagerfeld for the campaign. The Suicide Squad actress wears the covetable futuristic mirrored mask as well as eyewear from the tie-dye-inspired Plein Soleil and camellia-decorated Bijou collections. See all the photos here.
