A princess co-designed these limited-edition Royal dUCk scarves
The scarves are designed in collaboration with the Princess of Brunei
Fans of dUCk scarves are in for a treat because the brand has collaborated with Her Royal Highness Princess Sarah of Brunei. The collection, made to celebrate women, is available for a limited pre-order on fashionvalet.com now.
"The Royal dUck is about women," the brand wrote in an Instagram post. "How we should celebrate each other, how we should be kind to each other, and each of the 5 elements that Her Royal Highness Sarah advocates are symbolised in this one dUck."
The Royal dUck scarf comes in four pretty hues – ash blue, peach, red and pink – with each decorated with a grid pattern, wheels, diamonds, bees, and flowers; symbols that "are so special to Her Royal Highness Sarah of Brunei when talking about womanhood".
According to the Borneo Bulletin, the grid represents fitness and health while the wheel symbolises independence and the princess's love of cycling. The diamonds are a symbol of class and elegance while the bees signify teamwork and the love that women should have for one another.
To complement the scarves, the collection includes matching dUCk scarf bags in red, blue, pink and green. They're perfect for carrying up to eight scarves with you on your travels (they even double as makeup pouches). The scarves retail at RM600 each while the bags are priced at RM190 each. Pre-order ends on 11 April 2017 at midnight.
