Burberry's Christmas campaign has an all-star cast
The theme this year is Billy Elliot, and it has everyone in mid-air jumps
[Updated 4 November 2015] The Burberry Festive Film is here and it celebrates 15 years of Billy Elliot. It starts with a bit of the opening credits from the original film before cutting to Romeo Beckham and his co-stars having a ball of a time jumping on an unseen bed. We love how Elton John looks right at home with his red shoes and wide grin; you're never too old for a good jump.
Burberry never fails to set the mood for Christmas. This year's festive campaign has an even bigger cast than last year.
Romeo Beckham stole the show the last time, and now he's back again to star in the British label's Billy Elliot-themed campaign alongside Elton John. Elton composed for the musical, which was based on the original 2000 film, starring Jamie Bell. Julie Walters, who played Billy's teacher in the film, also features in the campaign.
"Billy Elliot is an incredible film full of so much joy and energy, so it was a real thrill and a great honour to be able to celebrate its 15 year anniversary through our festive campaign," Burberry creative director Christopher Bailey said.
Also clad in Burberry, jumping their way to our hearts are models Naomi Campbell and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Rosie's brother Toby Huntington-Whiteley, singers George Ezra and James Bay, TV host James Corden and actress Michelle Dockery.
The campaign film is set to make its debut later today, and we're guessing it'll have Burberry's stars doing a lot of stylish slow-motion leaps into glitter-strewn air. Stay tuned.
