If you keep up with #TheMostTalkedAboutCouple of this year, you would know that Kanye West and Kim Kardashian are big fans of Givenchy. From Kim's rose printed dress with built-in gloves at last year's Met Gala, designing the CD cover for Kanye and Jay-Z's Watch The Throne and their tour costumes to wedding dresses and tuxedo for their wedding in Florence, the Italian designer is fond of the Kardashian-Wests.

Though a lot of people are not fans of the controversial couple, Riccardo Tisci thinks otherwise and he doesn't care whether you like them or not.

"I found out from fashion people that people didn’t like her, people didn’t want anything to do with her. I’m a Leo and Italian and very proud, so I didn’t change my way about them. I invited them to the show, started doing special projects with them, dressing them and I got killed so much. But that’s what you do to be a friend, to be real - you don’t care about what people are saying," Riccardo told British GQ.

The head of Givenchy has been friends with the rapper for seven years, so it's no surprise that Riccordo puts their friendship ahead of other people's opinions. "It was sweet because she could have asked a lot of people at that time - but she still asked me," Riccardo said of Kimye asking him to dress them for their extravagant wedding.

With such loyalty to their friendship, it's no wonder that baby North received such first class treatment by getting her own front row seat at Givenchy's Spring Summer 2015 show.
