Raf Simons has been named Calvin Klein's new Chief Creative Officer. His move follows the exit of Calvin Klein creative directors Francisco Costa and Italo Zucchelli earlier in April this year. Besides being in charge of the men's and women's runway collections (Calvin Klein Collection), Simons will also oversee the rest of the company's brands: Calvin Klein Platinum, Calvin Klein, Calvin Klein Jeans, Calvin Klein Underwear and Calvin Klein Home.

"The arrival of Raf Simons as chief creative officer signifies a momentous chapter for Calvin Klein," said CEO Steve Shiffman. "Not since Mr. Klein himself was at the company has it been led by one creative visionary, and I am confident that this decision will drive the Calvin Klein brand and have a significant impact on its future."

"Raf's exceptional contributions have shaped and modernised fashion as we see it today and, under his direction, Calvin Klein will further solidify its position as a leading global lifestyle brand," he added. We've no doubt that his debut collection will be one of the most anticipated ones of the Autumn Winter 2017 season at New York Fashion Week next year.
