Open Prada's new Inside bag and each time, you'll find several different worlds, where fish swim freely in a city and raindrops give you a beautiful glow. Of course, this is all fantastical and part of the Prada Inside Me animated short film series directed by James Lima, who is known for his visual artistry and has worked with Steven Spielberg and James Cameron.

The shorts play along with the whimsy of the Inside bag – one bag is tucked inside another. In reality, it spells out 'bag within a bag,' but in the six episodes, a dreamlike universe is made possible. The first two episodes have already made their debut on, with the following four to be released daily from today until 18 October.

The first episode, The Swimmer, sees a woman swimming with fish in an urban landscape submerged in water. The second, A Kind of Light, follows a woman strolling in the rain on the streets, clad in Prada. The next few – A Space Between, A Curious Stranger and On the Beach – will explore more surreal watercolour-like encounters before The Dreamer concludes the series.
