H&M have just announced that Olivia Wilde will be the new face of their premium Conscious Exclusive line, created from sustainable materials.

As an advocate of conscious consumerism, Olivia couldn't be a better fit for the collection. She supports the works of many environmental and humanitarian projects, such as Artists for Peace and Justice and the Millennium Development Project. Together with Barbara Burchfield, she also founded Conscious Commerce, a charity that collaborates with and supports ethical businesses.

Olivia will appear in campaigns for the collection when it launches in April 2015. The range features clothing that incorporates African, Asian and Indian elements and uses environmentally friendly materials such as organic silk, cotton and linen, recycled polyster and eco-conscious leather.

Speaking about her appointment, the actress said: "Sustainability is one of my biggest passions. I'm proud to be the face of H&M Conscious Exclusive, a collection which shows the stylishness of sustainability."

H&M also carries more affordable line that is built upon "conscious actions", H&M Conscious Collection, which seeks to provide sustainable fashion at accessible price points.
