New Louis Vuitton AW14 campaign

Louis Vuitton has unveiled its first fashion advertising campaign since Nicolas Ghesquière took the reins as creative director

Nicolas Ghesquière gathered together some favourite collaborators for his first fashion campaign for Louis Vuitton, with Charlotte Gainsbourg, Freja Beha Erichsen, Liya Kebede and Jean Campbell starring in a series of portraits shot by superstar photographers Annie Leibovitz, Bruce Weber and Juergen Teller.

Dubbed ‘Series 1’, the campaign was conceptualised as a collaboration that crosses into art, with the photographers given free reign to interpret Louis Vuitton’s AW14 collection however they wished. (For Teller, that involved a silver Maserati concept car.) The campaign will break in August issues, but in the meantime take a look at this short behind-the-scenes video of the campaign that Louis Vuitton released last week.
