Nicolas Ghesquière gathered together some favourite collaborators for his first fashion campaign for Louis Vuitton, with Charlotte Gainsbourg, Freja Beha Erichsen, Liya Kebede and Jean Campbell starring in a series of portraits shot by superstar photographers Annie Leibovitz, Bruce Weber and Juergen Teller.

Dubbed ‘Series 1’, the campaign was conceptualised as a collaboration that crosses into art, with the photographers given free reign to interpret Louis Vuitton’s AW14 collection however they wished. (For Teller, that involved a silver Maserati concept car.) The campaign will break in August issues, but in the meantime take a look at this short behind-the-scenes video of the campaign that Louis Vuitton released last week.
