Following Natalie Ratabesi's departure from Philosophy by Alberta Ferretti earlier this week, American luxury label Vince has announced the designer's appointment as creative director for its womenswear.

"Natalie's design sensibility is effortless and she creates silhouettes with impactful and modern simplicity. She is the ideal candidate for this role as we believe she is able to bring a fresh, fashion perspective to the everyday iconic luxury essentials that Vince is known for," said Karin Gregerson, president and chief creative officer at Vince.

Natalie boasts Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Oscar de la Renta, and Valentino among her past design roles. Her role as creative director at Vince will begin at Vince on 16 June, with a collection expected for pre-fall 2015.
