Leave it to Marc Newson to make us fall in love with a writing instrument. The celebrated industrial designer, who joined Apple's design team in September 2014, recently collaborated with German brand Montblanc on a visually striking pen.

Called Montblanc M, the pen's sleek design features a black resin case shaped using a diamond tool, a magnet that ensures the cap and barrel are in perfect alignment, and a gold nib plated in rhodium and ruthenium and enscribed with the legendary designer's initials. It goes without saying that this pen is truly for someone who appreciates design and class.

Montblanc M is available as a ballpoint pen, fountain pen, rollerball pen, touchscreen pen, fine art pen and fineliner and will roll out at all Montblanc flagship stores and online in September.
