Cher Horowitz's Clueless wardrobe is finally a reality
Cher's wardrobe as seen on the 1995 film 'Clueless' is brought to virtual life by Metail for you to try on
Online fitting room Metail has brought Clueless lead character Cher Horowitz's wardrobe to virtual life for anyone and everyone to try on. Replicating the popular girl's digital wardrobe – and about time, too! – Metail lets you mix and match Cher's clothes and #ShareYourCher with friends on Facebook or via email.
To dress yourself like the It-girl of the nineties (played by Alicia Silverstone), all you have to do is submit your height, weight, and bra size for Metail to create a 3D model of yourself.
Tom Adeyoola and Duncan Robertson founded Metail in 2008 as a virtual shopping environment, which allows shoppers to enjoy shopping online as much as at the store. The only catch with #ShareYourCher is that you can't buy her clothes (yet).
"Adding the 'share' capability to our product is a key milestone for us, which will be rolled out with our commercial partners in the forthcoming months," Tom said. "We know through feedback that the 'share' option is key to moving our user experience forward." He also added that the inclusion of social media here serves to provide the same experience previously lacking in online shopping, which is sharing outfit combinations with friends for comment and advice.
Iggy Azalea paid homage to Clueless in her music video for Fancy.
