Remember the Angry Bunny we all went mad for? He was such a big hit that McQ have decided to work him into their AW14 collection as well, and they called on Japanese artist Yoshiyasu Tamura to do it.

“The “Angry Bunny” collection was a big hit with customers and we wanted to carry it through into the new season,” said McQ brand director Andy Rogers to WWD. “The McQ design team were inspired by Japan, everything from its artwork to its music scene and even its biker gangs, so we approached [Tamura] to ask him to create a manga design for us featuring the bunny.”

The manga design is incorporated across the collection, printed on dresses, T-shirts and sweaters, and panelled over jeans and backpacks. The print depicts “a samurai bunny fighting with a ferocious monster on the streets of Tokyo," according to the artist.

The men's collection is available in store now, and the women's collection will be arriving in August.
