Massimo Giorgetti leaves Emilio Pucci

The designer has decided to focus on his own label, MSGM

Italian designer Massimo Giorgetti is leaving fashion house Emilio Pucci after less than two years. According to a statement released, the two have decided to part ways in a mutual agreement.

"This experience with Emilio Pucci, one of the most representative and historic brands in fashion, was an inspiring journey, which has also contributed to my professional growth," Giorgetti said in a statement. "Today, my brand needs more and more of my attention and all my energy."

Giorgetti first joined the house in September 2015, replacing Peter Dundas. He also helms his own label MSGM which he launched in 2009. Emilio Pucci has not announced its new creative director.
