LVMH has appointed Sebastian Suhl as the new CEO of Marc Jacobs. Sebastian, who previously headed Givenchy, will replace Bertrand Stalla-Bourdillon, who served as Marc Jacob's CEO since 2006.

During his time at Givenchy, Sebastian lead aggressive retail efforts, which has resulted in a significant growth in the French fashion house; a growth which includes twenty-five new stores set to open for the rest of the year.

Filling Sebastian's shoes as Givenchy's chief executive is Philippe Fortunato, former president of Louis Vuitton's North Asia region.
