Hypebeasts and luxe brand aficionados across the world mourned when the Maison Martin Margiela-Converse collaboration sold out last year.

But it seems the fairy godmother of shoes has answered your prayers because the noted Maison Martin Margiela Converse First String 2014 Collection is back with a second installment of hand-painted All Star Chucks ’70 (in navy and orange) and leather Jack Purcells (in blue and red).

Costing around a whopping $300 (approximately RM960+), the white over paint delivers a sophisticated worn-in effect; the more the shoes are worn, the more the paint crackles, revealing a bright pop of colour underneath. The shoes also feature Maison Martin Margiela's logo at the tongue of the shoe and your choice of painted or non-painted white shoe laces.

Get your credit card or cash (if you’re ballin’ hard) ready because the SS14 collection is only available in limited numbers from 24 May at selected retailers. You can also purchase the shoes online here. Oh, the exclusivity… it kills us.
