Louis Vuitton to show Cruise 2017 at the Niterói Contemporary Art Museum

This is the museum's first time hosting a fashion show

Louis Vuitton will be hosting its Cruise 2017 collection at the Niterói Contemporary Art Museum in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on 28 May this year. While the museum will celebrate its 20th anniversary on that day, it will also mark the first time it has ever hosted a fashion show.

"The setting inspired me right away... It's about being transported into a relationship where nature, geography and architecture come together," said creative director Nicolas Ghesquière.

Louis Vuitton isn't the only fashion house that will move its Cruise collection. Chanel will show its Cruise 2017 collection in Havana, Cuba on 3 May while Gucci will head to London for its show on 2 June 2016.
