Louis Vuitton and its artistic director Nicolas Ghesquière have just announced that the maison's Cruise 2017 show is headed for Rio de Janeiro. The date for the exotic locale has been set for May 28.

This won't be the first time Vuitton has moved its shows from Paris to unexpected destinations, like last Cruise season's show took place in Palm Springs, California, and the Cruise 2014 show's jaunt to Monaco. As it seems, tis the season for 'cruising' to different destinations, with Chanel's May 3 show in Havana, Cuba, and Gucci goes to London for its Cruise show on June 2.

Anyone planning on travelling in May, book a ticket to Cuba or Rio for some fashion action.
