Young Lily-Rose Depp has been chosen by Karl Lagerfeld to be the new face of Chanel Eyewear for the brand's Autumn Winter 2015 campaign. The good news was announced yesterday and we couldn't be more thrilled to see the editorial photos that will feature Lily-Rose.

"Lily-Rose is stunning, she's a young girl from a new generation with all the qualities of a star," said Karl in a press release. The campaign, shot by Karl himself, shows the 16-year-old starlet sporting a dark red lip and a pair of Pearl Chanel sunglasses.

We think Lily-Rose could always get a few pointers from mum Vanessa Paradis who has been a Chanel brand ambassador since 1990, most recently starring in the Girl Chanel handbag campaign. You can also watch Lily-Rose work that dark lip here
