Lauren Hutton, 73, stars in Calvin Klein Underwear's Spring 2017 campaign
The Sofia Coppola-directed campaign celebrates sexy at all ages
Calvin Klein is reminding us that women of all ages are sexy in their own way. For the brand's latest underwear campaign, it went a different direction from its usual provocative ads (remember topless Kendall Jenner?). Instead, the American fashion label worked with director Sofia Coppola to release a black-and-white female empowerment campaign, revealing the brand's new underwear tagline, "Calvin Klein, or nothing at all."
The ads feature a star-studded cast of women aged between 18 to 73, representing a wide spectrum of beauty. Even next to actresses half her age like Kirsten Dunst and Rashida Jones, veteran supermodel and actress Lauren Hutton proves she very much still has it at 73 years old. Up-and-coming celebrity offspring like Maya Hawke (Ethan Hawke and Uma Thurman's daughter) and Anna Sui's niece, Chase Sui Wonder also get a moment in the spotlight.
Subtly sultry and chic, the new campaign also includes one-on-one videos with the stars as they share personal stories about first kisses to getting picked up. We think the campaign's like an elevated slumber party, complete with intimate conversations – we love it.
