Lauren Conrad designs gorgeous bridesmaids dresses
The actress, designer and author's new collection makes being a bridesmaid the greatest job in the world
Lauren Conrad must be busy with wedding preparations – she's getting married to musician and law student William Tell this autumn – but she's not only managed to wow us with a constantly beautiful Instagram feed. The Hills star has designed a collection of bridesmaid dresses for her label, Paper Crown.
"We're doing full-length, a couple midi, and then we have a couple to-the-knee," Lauren said. "We didn't really go shorter than that because it doesn't really feel appropriate, and if that's what you want, then you can always shorten the dress."
Proving herself to be the ultimate dream bride (for wedding planners and bridesmaids, let alone the groom), Lauren is letting her own entourage call their own shots for their look, even down to hair and nails.
"I sent them all the different [dress] shapes and let them pick from two colours. I don't mind if there are a few girls in the same dress, or if people are all in different ones," she explained. But why the freedom? "Everyone has their own style," Lauren said. Take a number, volunteers.
The 28-year-old noted that going classic is "a nice choice because you don't want anybody to stand out in a negative way."
Lauren, bridesmaids-to-be all over the world thank you. We bet that some aren't even going to wait for a wedding invitation before slipping into these wear-them-again designs.
