Molly Goddard is a 2017 LVMH Prize finalist

Eight designers from all over the world have been selected for the prestigious young fashion designers award

British designer Molly Goddard has been announced as one of eight finalists who are in the running to win the coveted LVMH Prize for Young Designers 2017. The full list is:

Ambush by Yoon Ahn (Korean)
Atlein by Antonin Tron (French)
Cecilie Bahnsen by Cecilie Rosted Bahnsen (Danish)
Jahnkoy by Maria Kazakova (Russian)
Kozaburo by Kozaburo Akasaka (Japanese)
Marine Serre by Marine Serre (French)
Molly Goddard by Molly Goddard (British)
Nabil Nayal by Nabil el-Nayal (British).

The finals will be held on 16 June at the Louis Vuitton Foundation in Paris, where the jury, made up of some of the industry's biggest names, including Karl Lagerfeld, Maria Grazia Chiuri, Marc Jacobs, Phoebe Philo and Nicolas Ghesquière, will select the winner. The chosen designer will take home prize money of €300,000 and receive support from LVMH to build his or her brand for 12 months.
