Kristen Stewart oozes sultry for Chanel
The actress plays muse to Karl Lagerfeld once again for the brand's 'Paris in Rome' campaign
Kristen Stewart once again plays muse to Chanel in their new Métiers d’art "Paris in Rome" ad campaign, smouldering in shots by Karl Lagerfeld. The campaign showcases the pre-fall 2016 collection that premiered at their Métiers d’art show in Rome last December.
Evoking the theme of the collection, Kristen looks like a classic Italian movie actress from an era long gone, smoky eyes, burgundy lips and coiffed bob all in. In one shot she wears a one-shoulder knitted sweater with lace tights, in another a dress with two-toned monochromatic mules.
Lagerfeld told WWD that Kristen "is the perfect for the Chanel image of today," in how she embodies the elegant, ultra-femme savoir-faire of the Métiers d’art and Lagerfeld's vision. Her enduring partnership with the maison endures, from the Spring Summer 2015 eyewear and 1.12 handbag campaigns, to the more recent Once and Forever biopic where Kristen played Coco.
