Katie Hillier admits that she likes having plenty of things to work on. Not only does she helm Marc by Marc Jacobs with Luella Bartley, Katie also runs Hillier London, her own jewellery brand. Add to that impressive CV an exciting new capsule collection she's just completed for Mytheresa.

The youthful pieces – necklaces, earrings and ear studs – were inspired by a trip to Palm Springs.

"I fell in love with the unique style of my surroundings," she said. "The architecture, the nature and the free spirit of the place made me think about what else I could do with our paperclip pendants."

Hillier's signature pieces are its paperclip-like pendants that are sculpted into various animal shapes and letters.

"The palm trees were all around, standing proud like old soldiers protecting the streets, and the feathers seen on many a dreamcatcher... and so that was it. That was the next collection for Hillier," she added.

The Hillier London for Mytheresa collection is available from today, 18 November, at mytheresa.com
