Karlie Kloss calls Moto Guo's designs "amazing"
The model's latest Klossy video entry retells her experience meeting the LVMH Prize semifinalists
Karlie Kloss, one of the LVMH Prize's many industry experts, was at Paris Fashion Week earlier this month to meet with the 23 designers from all over the world who were shortlisted for the prestigious award. Malaysian designer Moto Guo is one of the designers Karlie spoke to at the showroom.
"The minute I turned to the corner, I saw this," she said, picking up one of Moto Guo's quirky jackets from his AW16 Pencil Pusher collection at the showroom. "This is amazing."
Watch her try on more clothes from other designers at the showroom in her new video.
The list of eight finalists, voted for by the experts, was announced two weeks ago. They are Aalto (by Thomas Merikoski), Alyx (by Matthew Williams), Brandon Maxwell, Koché (by Christelle Kocher), Vejas (by Vejas Kruszewski), Wales Bonner (by Grace Wales Bonner), Facetasm (by Hiromichi Ochiai) and Y/Project (by Glenn Martens). The winner, who will receive €300,000 (approx. RM1,365,325) and a year-long mentorship from LVMH, will be announced when the eight meet the jury on 16 June at the Louis Vuitton Foundation.
