Chanel is going to Havana, Cuba in May for its Cruise 2017 collection, and will also open Karl Lagerfeld's photography exhibition Obra en Proceso/Work in Progress, hosted by the Factoría Habana from 28 April to 12 May 2016.

The exhibition will showcase more than 200 of Lagerfeld's photographs, featuring fashion, architecture and landscapes, all of which are subjects he is passionate about. Some of his prolific work includes Chanel campaign shots and spreads photographed for some of the biggest fashion magazines. The photos will reflect the 82-year-old designer's personal touch and skill across different photography techniques.

Chanel's Cruise 2017 collection will be shown on El Paseo del Prado on 3 May 2016, just a few days after the exhibition opens. Another of Lagerfeld's photography exhibitions, Karl Lagerfeld: Visions of Fashion, will be held from 14 June at Pitti Uomo in Florence.
