No Oscar de la Renta for Galliano, but he may tackle Maison Martin Margiela's haute couture line

John Galliano has been hovering in and out of the fashion industry over the past few years since he was fired from Dior in 2011. However, he may soon be bowing at his own runway again after speculation suggests that he has been in cahoots with Belgian house, Maison Martin Margiela to helm its haute couture line.

A source told Page Six that "Galliano has been talking to Margiela to take the brand into haute couture. He has already hired five or six staff members for his atelier in Paris."

"I have yet to design my best collection," John told Le Point newspaper. "The new Galliano will be even bigger and better."

"I love working, it's my therapy. I can draw until 4 in the morning every night and not feel tired," he added. "I've come face to face with my demons, medicine and alcohol. I have rebuilt myself again."

We look forward to a brand new Galliano, although we doubt there'll be a new moustache to replace his pencil-thin signature mo.
