It's just another day in a supermodel's life

Joan Smalls, like fellow supermodels Jourdan Dunn and Cara Delevingne, has huge ambitions and isn't content with being "just a model". After wrapping up another brilliant season on the catwalks of Milan and Paris fashion weeks, she has now teamed up with True Religion to produce an exclusive denim collection.

"It's just a natural evolution, and I always knew that I wasn't going to be the model that was just the model, you know?," says Joan. "I always wanted to be a businesswoman and to have a voice and a say in my own career and just the freedom of expression."

Joan will star in the campaign, to be styled by Patti Wilson and shot by Steven Klein, but will not appear in the lookbook.

The Joan Smalls x True Religion collection features gunmetal coloured jeans and zipper details, and retails from $58 (approx. RM215) to $238 (approx. RM885). The collection can now be shopped online on True Religion's website (although unfortunately, they don't ship to Malaysia; start cosying up to friends abroad).
