Jerry Seinfeld stars in Rag & Bone Spring 2015 collection
The sixty-year-old 'Seinfeld' comedian rocks his fashion debut with Rag & Bone
Whatever direction people in the fashion world are heading, American label Rag & Bone has made it clear that they'd like to go the other way. After making a cute capsule collection featuring its founder's children's doodles and getting Winona Ryder to front its menswear-inspired AW14 campaign, the brand got Jerry Seinfeld to model its Spring 2015 collection.
Alongside Ben Lovett of Mumford & Sons, NBA basketball player Carmelo Anthony, and other models, Jerry is all dressed up and looking a far cry from his nineties Seinfeld era (no baggy jeans or sweater vests here).
"It's a pretty eclectic group. We don't care if they're recognisable. The point was to present a cross-section of people who we think are awesome or cool. You don't have to be a celebrity to matter," co-founder Marcus Wainwright said.
David Neville, Marcus's co-founder added that "Our message for our menswear is real people in real clothes. We use beautiful fabrics and silhouettes, but they're not screaming at you. And this concept allows us to do that."
